Interestingly, we began our life as the world’s very first pan-BPO standards body just around when the BPO industry itself was beginning to resolutely break out of the stranglehold of Contact Center domination and was wafting into money-short but talent-rich destinations in Asia, Eastern Europe, Latin America, and Africa. The nineties marked the rise of brave new economies and these emergent, but tremendously energetic BPO destinations appeared hungry for best-practices, benchmarks, and excellence models they could embrace and imbibe. BCI soon, became a cornerstone for BPOs and their employees. We leapt again over many quantums, when KPO rose royally on the firmament.
Like yesterday, we still remain the only one; widest-spectrum; pan-domain standards and credentialing body for the global BPO Service-Provider Industry.
Not surprisingly, our stakeholders today deem us as the life-blood of the other critical half of the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) Industry – the BPO Service Providers.
