How to get Certified?

Getting BCI certified has become even more convenient now. Just follow these simple five steps:

Step 1: Become a Primary Member
To become a primary user member simply apply for the desired certification on the BCI website and you will receive an application process email with link for registration portal.

Step 2: Register for your chosen certification program
Complete the registration and payment process as instructed in the registration process email /communication sent to you in the step 1.

Step 3: Train & Prepare for your Certification Assessments
Training is a mandatory requirement for all entry-level BCI certifications, but for all other programs, there are no training requirements. For many programs BCI offers the option of self-study in certain countries, and in many others, you may be referred to train with a BCI Authorized Training Provider. You shall be duly informed about your options in the BCI email sent to you carrying your registration confirmation information.

Step 4: Submit Critical Documents & Assignments
This is NOT required for Fresher level certifications CCIP‌™, CBSA‌™, CFPA‌™ and CTSA‌™. However, for all other certifications, you have to make online submissions and may have to request your manager or the reporting officer (Referee) to submit a Confidential Work-Performance Feedback Report for you in the prescribed format. This has to be done online by your referee by logging in directly into the BCI assessment portal.

Step 5: Take the BCI Certification Assessments for your Certification
You can take Certification Examination on the scheduled date and time – everything online - minimum after 15 days of registration and should complete your examination maximum within 1 year from the date of registration. In addition to the online examination, you may have to make some assignment or documentary submissions as well.

Step 6: Certification Decision
If you qualify all prescribed BCI norms on Knowledge and Competence Prerequisites and have completed your submissions, you become eligible for being considered for the award of the BCI credential chosen by you. You can expect your Credential Pack to reach you within 30-45 days from the date of declaration of the award decision.
