Available across 28 countries now, a successful completion of this program leads to the award of the prestigious CBOM® credential, and the permission to use the CBOM® designation. CBOM® is awarded to individuals who successfully complete the requirements as prescribed by the BPO Professional Certification Board (BPCB). Though prior training for CBOM® is not mandatory under BCI policies, preparation for CBOM® examinations can certainly be done by applicants: either through self-study, or by training with any of the authorized BCI Training Providers, including the authorized BCI training academies and International Centers for Outsourcing Studies in universities operating in various countries. Additionally, employer-BPO organizations are increasingly being seen making in-company arrangements for CBOM® pre-certification training and certification for their assistant Operations Managers or senior Supervisors who are being groomed for Managerial roles.
