CBPL™ Candidacy Requirements
Candidacy requirements define the parameters on the basis of which an applicant shall be evaluated fit for applying for a particular BCI certification. Candidacy requirements will vary across certifications.
Applicants for CBPL™ should have at least completed their undergraduate degrees at the time of applying. However, applicants with Master’s degrees have often proven to be better prepared for harnessing their CBPL™ qualification - than their undergraduate counterparts.
Professional / Work Requirements
Applicants who come from non-BPO backgrounds,
are required to have a minimum of 10 years of senior management/top leadership experience in the human resources departments of recognized organizations in banking, insurance, retailing, telecommunications, information technology, travel, hospitality, transportation and public utility services.
For applicants who have a BPO or a call center background,
the minimum prescribed work experience requirement is 7 years of which a minimum of 5 years should be in the roles of People Leadership function in recognized BPO organizations, collection centers, call centers or customer support outfits.
For applicants who have the BCI CBPM™ certification,
the minimum prescribed work experience requirement is 5 years of which, a minimum of 2 years after the CBPM™ award should be in senior managerial roles in one or a combination of People Leadership function in recognized BPO organizations, collection centers, call centers or customer support outfits.
An applicant should have ideally completed minimum 28 years of age at the time of applying for CBPL™. There is no upper age bar, however for any BCI certification program.
BCI is free to demand documentary proofs for the above from an applicant and reserves the rights to reject the candidacy of an applicant at any point of time during the application process in event it is found that the applicant has supplied false information in his/her application form.
